Are glass slippers really the best thing to wear to a ball?
or should I wear something more comfortable?

i would say get either the 2nd or the 4th... definitly not the 1st b/c if u r going to wear them to school they look too much like slipper. But i no a lot of ppl who where the 2nd ( acutally i have a pair of thoes same ones- really warm and cozy) and the 4th are really cute.

hey, I luuuuv ths question, man.. (U a 5 .. or a 6?) I definitely like the aura of the Lizard Cake Monkey.. (Hey, I went to an old bar at Michigan State in E%26gt; Lansing in the 70's called "Lizard's..") too kool! I've heard of 'monkey bread' (just wads of dough you slap together, sloshing iggy butter all over..) Cakes? I make 'em by the bundles.. I definitely think the lizard cake monkey takes the prize here! Old slippers? They've got character.. of sorts.. later (melancholia)

Ugg clogs, slippers, short boots, or long?
UGG mocasins are amazingly comfortable and I'm seeing more and more people wearing them. The boots are definately the best though because they were the original. The medium classic ones are the best though becase the short ones make your calves look fat and the talk ones you can't wear under jeans very well. The tan Uggs get really dirty easily though so i would recommend the chocolate colored ones because they don't show stains easily and barely any people have them. The fabric on them seems thicker too, so they keep their form better. My three pairs of Uggs are what keep me alive in the winter...no matter if people say if they are so last year. Whatev. Hope that was helpful.

Long boots: Echoing the other answers, it's the ideal gift assuming you don't live in some hot tropical paradise where long boots would look silly. Recommendations ror dressy: pointy toe and stiletto please (wide feet may pose problems). For casual but stylish, rounded toe with a western heel. If she has really skinny legs then make sure the tube is small but stretchy so it wrap around the legs snug otherwise it's gonna sag or wobble around.
Short boot: Ideal for those wear pants most often. No point covering those long boots under those pants all the time.
Slippers: The indoor kind. Good gifts for people who live with those cold tile/hardwood floors.
Clogs: Unless she's into these things I wouldn't recommend as a gift. So you're on your own on this one.
