Reply:i like wearing those slipper/sock things... the really fuzzy socks that come in all different colors. they are sooo warm and cozy. or i have these slippers that are 'memmory foam' and are like flip/flop sandal style. its like im walking on a cloud lol!

Birkenstock sandals/slippers fungus problem on the?

i recently wore my birkenstock sandals to the pool by mistake and got it all wet . The next day i found out that it had some kind of white patches on it( where the toes and heel are ) and washed it thoroughly and it went away . These few days i havent been home but i noticed that the white patches have appeared . Does the fungus keep coming back?What should i do to clean and prevent it from coming back ?

Because the sole of the Birkenstock is made out of suede, you should never get water on them, usually they just stain the suede, but the chlorine in the water may be having an effect on them.





Try getting some suede cleaner from your local shoe shop/cobblers. They usually come with a scrubbing brush.

Um. More public i would pick the second one ! But i wouldn't wear any slippers outside with public ! I mean if you mean "Public" by having people over yeah i like the second pair ! Hope this helps ! Good luck ~

Reply:It's got to be slippers or slipper socks at the very least! Think of all the dirt getting tramped into your floor from outside. Your poor feet need protection, where would you be without them!
