are you suppose to take the robe and slippers when you leave
When staying at a resort that provides bath robes and slippers?
I don%26#039;t think so. That is like packing up the towels and taking them with you when you check out. Leave them in the room unless there is a sign saying you can take them.
Reply:Do you take the blankets from the bed?
The lamps from the tables?
The drapes from the windows?
Well then...
Reply:You are more than welcome to take them, but you will be billed a horrendous amount if you do.
Reply:dont get out much do you? you dont take the slippers, robe, ashtrays, towels, bed sheets, tv, stereo, OR ANYTHING ELSE
Reply:Ok, Bailey%26#039;s answer cracked me up! But, the answer is in fact No. They are cleaned and sanitized for the next people in the room. Just as you SHOULDn%26#039;t take towels, the same with robes and slippers. That said, my mother has several white robes with hotel logos on them. My only concern would be whether they may charge you if they discover you%26#039;ve taken them... Enjoy em while you%26#039;re there. I suggest walking around the hotel in nothing but.
Reply:are you serious?
no Sherlock
Reply:Nope. That doesn%26#039;t stop people from doing it though...
Reply:No and most rooms I have stayed in where there were robes have a nice note in the closet or the guest guide explaining it is for convenience, but if someone wishes to take it there will be a substantial charge. Same as with towels and bedding and furniture in the room.
Reply:No, and many hotels will charge you if you take them. They do, after all, have your credit card info.
You can take the soap, shampoo, shower cap, and little package of coffee that they offer for free. You can%26#039;t take the towels, sheets, pillows, bathrobes, slippers, or anything else unless they give you explicit permission.
Reply:no
that would be stealing
