Do you wear your ugg slippers with socks?

I just got a brand new pair of ugg slippers and I was wondering whether you should wear them with socks? If you don%26#039;t will it make the uggs smell? What would be the best - socks or no socks?

no socks, it won%26#039;t make them smell, actually, when i bought my uggs they said if you do wear them with socks it will over heat and give off a strange odor.
Reply:I say what ever makes you comfortable. Personally I wear my Uggs with a light pair of socks all the time. In fact I%26#039;m wearing my grey Cardy%26#039;s with socks right now. If you feel they fit too snug with socks, try without. Socks also bunch up at times so you may find wearing them without better. Try both ways and see which you like.

Reply:NO no no no NO socks! Thats the whole wonderful idea behind UGG brand. The heat from your feet warms up the slipper/boot and voila, toasty heaven. IF you wear socks, it defeats the whole purpose behind spending the cash on UGGS. You might as well get Walmart brand then. If they start to smell (which they really shouldn%26#039;t if you are putting clean freshly showered tootsies into them) try a bit of Febreeze. That should take care of any odor. Enjoy!
Reply:I have slippers from PacSun, and i wear mine with socks when i wear jeans. But if you are going to wear a skirt or capris or shorts go without socks. they wont smell either way because it has an open back.
Reply:they are extremely comfortable either way, but without socks it does tend to smell alittle. the socks will prevent your feet from sweating at all in them. i say socks are best you can always roll them a little so they don%26#039;t show as much
Reply:I wear mine without socks.,but if you are more comfitable with them on wear them.They do tend to overheat your feet as the wool inside is usually warm enought.
