After you have the slippers, maybe glue some crystals on them. At fabric and craft stores, they also have small appliques you can sew on, with embroidery or sequins.
Slippers are mostly for house wear with pajamas, I suppose you could use them with lounge clothes. Or keep them in your car for driving. I would not walk around outside in slippers unless they have a hard sole or they will fall apart quickly.
I have seen some fancy slippers made from silk with embellishments like bead and metallic embroidery, worn with wide legged silk pants and a sparkly top, at an indoor dinner party. The woman hosting the party wore them and looked divine, and she was very comfortable too.

flat slippers!with sort of work done in them!or just simple!will look amazing with caprice or three fourth jeans!with a pretty anklet in one leg of urs!it should have good sole!
