Can i wear slippers in cathay pacific airline?

Is it gonna be cold inside the plane...is it better if i wear a slipper? travel is going from Los angeles to hongkong to philippines ?

I wore a flipflop on my flight to Boracay and Manila.. (Maybe I was just too excited that time and already in the mood for the beach..) believe me it was cold and I think it's inappropriate so it's better to wear something nice aside from slippers unless if you have something like a foot infection or others that requires you to wear it. %26lt;*-*%26gt;
Reply:yes u can definately. u can wear it all the way or change 1 on the plane. cos u r flying long hrs. better change a pair of slippers. i do that 2. if u dun wanna bring 1, actually cathay wil give e'one a pack while u on board. it wil hv toothbrush / eye's cover / a pair of thick socks inside which 4 u to wear %26amp; walk inside the plane. if i didn't bring my own slippers / i wil wear that thick socks.
Reply:temperatures inside planes are supposed to be comfortable and not freezing cold. if you are more comfortable with slippers, then do so. i once travelled from hongkong to cebu with just walking shorts and slippers. less hassle thru security checks.
Reply:Your footwear should be what is most comfortable for you. I don't think the airlines dictate what you can or cannot wear although they are very strict as to what you can or cannot carry underneath the clothes and shoes.

Reply:I agree with the lady above me. No dress code for airlines. Now, if you feel cold all of a sudden inside, you can ask for thermal socks. They're usually free/complimentary.

Reply:Yup, you can wear anything.. It might even be better because you can go through the airport screening faster because you have no shoes to take off.. At least wear descent looking ones...
