Any idea if we can wear slippers when we are travelling by air?

Have you ever seen anyone wearing slippers when aboard the aircraft?

if one bothers to read the other parts of the airline ticket, one can see the do%26#039;s and dont%26#039;s a.k.a rules upon boarding. one of those are guidelines on what the proper clothes one should wear on the flight. Slippers are generally not allowed however, i have seen a person who was barefoot in a flight to Boracay Is., Philippines. Funny it may seem, i had the nerve to ask the guy why he had no footwear on and he said that his thong slippers broke upon check-in! what he did was he just showed the broken slippers to the airline staff so he can board the plane. in this regard, it is still not advisable to wear slippers.
Reply:Yes. Snoop Dogg had some slippers on when he got on a plane in Paris. That doesn%26#039;t make it right or stylish!
Reply:well you have to take your shoes off so i dont see why not. weather would be the only concern
Reply:Sure you can. For a long flight it is an excellent idea. You are crammed into a seat and circulation can be bad, yet the floor is being walked on by 100 people. Especially if you go to the bathroom, you don%26#039;t want to go in bare feet or socks.

On an intercontinental flight I was on once they had sockettes on every seat.
Reply:Yes, people do change in to slippers on the airplane. If you do get a pair with %26quot;rubber%26quot; soles so that if you use the lav you don%26#039;t get wet feet.
Reply:Yes, they are acceptable footwear.
Reply:I often travel by plane because of my job. I always bring slippers with a rubber sole, or even flipflops, to be comfortable on board.

Might not look very stylish, but who cares?
Reply:Yes, but I suggest easy slip on/off shoes instead and bring an extra pair of socks. Take off shoes while in flight and put on the extra pair of socks.
