Are Bloch Pointe shoes and slippers the same size?

I don%26#039;t have a chance to go into the store to try them on. I know all pointe shoes have different sizes. I have some Bloch flat slippers, and am a 6.5 B. Does that mean I am a 6.5 B in Bloch pointe as well?

Are Bloch Pointe shoes and slippers the same size?
No, not at all!! The sizes are extremely different. You have to go onto a store and be professionally fitted. You could wear a size 8 in street shoes, a size 6 in slippers and around a 4 in toe shoes...they all vary greatly!

EDIT-

Bloch pointe shoe sizes are different from other pointe shoes brands. They are also different from their slipper sizes. Bloch recommends that the shoe be 3 -3.5 sizes down from street shoe size. I wear a 8 in street shoe and have worn a 4.5 and a 5 in Bloch pointe shoes (2 different styles) The width might be trickier. They offer widths in B, C, D, %26amp; E. This will obviously depend on the width of your foot at the metatarsals. My foot is not skinny, just a bit wider than norm (one reason I like Bloch) and I use a C width. But different styles are made with different width boxes to begin with so it could be different for you with different styles.

If you want to order them without trying them on first, just be prepared to send them back for a different size after you try them on. Since you have been fitted before, you know what the shoe is supposed to feel like once it is on. So order the size you think you%26#039;ll need, when it arrives, try it on. If it does not fit properly then send it back for a different size and try it again. Just DO NOT keep a shoe that does not fit right. This could injure your feet and will definitely cause more blisters and pain than they should.

Check on the website you are ordering from and see what their return policy is before you order!
Reply:If this is your first pair of pointe shoes then you really should go get them fitted at a dance supply store. If you can%26#039;t find the time explain to your ballet teacher that you are too busy to go get shoes during the rest of the week and you need to just miss one class to get them fitted. If your teacher thinks you are ready this should be no problem.
Reply:most likely not. pointe shoes come in very weird sizes. plus you have to get your exact size in pointe shoes other wise you may really hurt yourself going up onpointe with too big or too small shoes
