Split or full sole ballet slippers???
you should get split sole because it does make your arch look better but get leather because leather work your feet more and help strengthen them
Reply:I prefer split sole, but what ever you like.
Reply:I do better at split but wear the ballet shoes your comfy with.:)
Reply:split, they are better
Reply:If you arejust starting ballet then full sole because it gives u support while you are getting to grips with ballet. Then move on to split sole they help improve your arch and help with spins. Good luck xx
Reply:The majority of ballet dancers prefer to wear split sole shoes. The reason I wear them when I dance is because there is less %26#039;tension%26#039; in between the ball of your foot and your heel in your arch. Some full sole shoes%26#039; soles are tough to get used to because they are too hard and by wearing split sole shoes, you eliminate that difficulty all together. :)
Reply:Split sole canvas!! They make your arch look much better than full sole. Most professional dancers do prefer the split sole. I personally think they are more comfortable to dance in.
Reply:Split.

I have really high arches, and I can%26#039;t wear the full sole shoes because when I point, my arch comes right out, even if I bend them really well first. The split soles give your foot more flexibility, and highlight your arch, which makes your foot look much more graceful and pretty.
Reply:It depends on your arches, and your age. If you have high arches, then definitely split sole, or if you are older than 12 and have been dancing for a while. If you don%26#039;t have very high arches, i would suggest full sole, because they work your arches more and will improve your arches. Also ask your teacher, she might prefer one or the other.

*good luck
